INDY NXT by Firestone at Iowa Speedway

Jamie Chadwick scores her second top 10 finish by placing tenth this weekend at the INDY NXT by Firestone at Iowa Speedway. This was her first oval track race on a venue that is challenging for all drivers.  Jamie gains experience with every Indy NXT race  and we are excited to see her grow week after week. She is definitely a driver on the move!

Jamie posted on facebook, “First ever oval race in the books . A complete new challenge but I really enjoyed it and was happy to get another top 10 finish. Bring on the next one!”

“We ran all the laps – so our first oval experience is done. It was tricky. Physically it was a tough race as well so happy to get through it. We hung in there, but have some work to do before World Wide Technology Raceway.”

• Due to weather conditions early in the day, the INDY NXT by Firestone at Iowa Speedway race was postponed and saw a start time of 6:30 p.m. CT.
• The 75-laps event ran only five caution laps during the race’s sole yellow-flag period.
• The average speed of the 16-car field was 144.126 MPH.
