INDY NXT by Firestone Detroit Grand Prix
“That’s a long, tough, physical race, but we stuck in there. I didn’t race as well as I would’ve liked. Gave up a few too many positions but we still stayed through it and kept the nose clean. Now we just have to get ready to fight again tomorrow.”
Qualifying:
POSITION: 9
Due to avoidable contact on Turn 14, Jamie Chadwick was set back from her starting position of P9 and came back into the mix to finish P15.
“I’m feeling frustrated after getting taken out in the second lap of the race. I tried to fight back, but was just in all sorts of clusters and messes. Although, we had a really good pace this weekend, so that’s something to be happy with. I’m just disappointed that we couldn’t have a result to show for it.”
