The INDY NXT by Firestone in Portland, OR marked Jamie Chadwick’s best INDY NXT finish to date. She was able to improve on her starting position of 16th to come away with a 6th-place finish.
“I think staying out of trouble was the name of that one. In Lap 1 I thought I was going to get caught in the traffic, but I was amazed at how I was able to come out of the chaos. From there, I just stayed in it and I think we had some good pace at the end. I’m happy with my result today and am ready to get out to Laguna.”
Jamie posted on her facebook page that “we struggled to get up to speed here this weekend so I am really happy we could pick our way through the chaos and get our best finish. Big thank you to the Andretti Autosport crew – we had a great car! Bring on Laguna Seca next weekend. ”
