INDY NXT by Firestone at INDY GP
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The INDY NXT by Firestone in Madison, IL marked Jamie Chadwick’s<\/strong>\u00a0second career start on an oval. She was able to improve on her starting position of 13th to come away with a 12th-place finish.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m a little bit disappointed, however, I felt like we couldn\u2019t expect too much since we didn\u2019t have much time for practice or qualifying today. We made a couple of passes in the race and I think we learned a lot which is the main thing. I felt like I was finding my feet in the race, and we learned a lot which I am happy about. It would have been nice to have had a full weekend here at World Wide Technology Raceway, but glad we had a chance to race under the lights. Looking forward to the next one.”<\/p>\n

Jamie posted on her facebook page that she “enjoyed racing under the lights last night at World Wide Technology Raceway<\/a> ,but very little practice and a cancelled qualifying session put us on the back foot P12 at the finish. Another Oval race in the book.”<\/p>\n
