It was a tough physical race out there and I dropped back after the first lap, but was able to kind of recover to something respectful. So, I enjoyed it. It was tough and it&#8217;s nice to finish a race on the lead lap for once. Now I\u2019m just looking forward to carrying that confidence and learning experience into Detroit. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifying<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jamie Chadwick found herself in the top five for most of the practice session before qualifying with a time of 1:15.7845.\u00a0 Chadwick locked in her season-best qualifying place in 14th.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a good practice this morning, I\u2019m disappointed. There was a good opportunity to be in the top 10 with my lap in qualifying. I\u2019m frustrated; it\u2019s our best qualifying of the year but I think there was a lot more on the table. We\u2019ll fight tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 55-minute race saw 35 laps completed on the 2.439-mile road course.<\/li>\n<li>The initial start was waived off but the clock started.
